Katie Holmes admits she always makes a fool of herself in public.
The actress says she's never been glamorous, despite frequent appearances on the red carpet.
‘I can’t deny it. I am who I am,’ she says.
‘I’m not a smooth type of girl, I run into things, I trip, I spill food, I say stupid things, I really don’t have it all together.
'But I’m working on it, I really am!’
And Katie, who is married to actor Tom Cruise, 46, says she wasn't popular at her all-girls school because she looked out of place.
‘I was very tall, gawky and skinny,’ she tells OK! ‘I really focused on my school studies.
'In hindsight I think we missed out socially. We came out of school and it was suddenly: “Oh, my God! Boys!"'

Katie Holmes, 29, who is married to 46-year-old actor Tom Cruise, has revealed she loves getting older because she learns more about herself.

She said: "I find that as I get older I am excited to get older. There are more things for me to learn. I realise that I don't know as much as I thought I did. I like looking back and seeing pictures of the past because that is 'who' I created for me. That is what I was doing. I appreciate it more and more. Every day I try to find out more things about myself. I love changing." The search for a high-end Manhattan rental continues for Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. Wife-bot/actress Holmes recently showed up at Trump Park Avenue, where she spent over a half-hour perusing the duplex penthouse with a 0,000-a-month price tag.

"She saw it and she loved it," says Trump Executive Vice President Michael Cohen, who added that the condo is also for sale at million. "They're very interested and are now making their decision."

The unit at 502 Park Ave. has 5,000 square feet of interior space plus approximately 2,000 square feet of terraces. There are four bedrooms, 6½ bathrooms, a den, a library, a dining room and an eat-in kitchen with high-end appliances.

Also featured in the unit are 20-foot ceilings, two staircases, 360-degree views through its 50 windows and three large chandeliers.

"And we have a security system that's second to none," says Cohen.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are hunting for an apartment in New York City. As Katie gears up to take Broadway by storm with her role in the revival of Arthur Miller's All My Sons this fall, the actress and her superstar spouse want their own Big Apple digs.

They reportedly have their eye on a beautifully furnished, multilevel, six-bedroom apartment on Manhattan's Upper East Side, but are continuing to look in the ,000-a-month range. "Tom's owned a small bachelor apartment in Manhattan for years, but it is not suitable for a family with a nanny and security," a friend of the actress tells OK!.

While Katie, 29, stays put in NYC for the play, Tom, 45, will travel back and forth to L.A. during the 16-week run, often taking 2-year-old Suri with him. "He can't stay full time in NYC because he has older kids, Connor and Bella, to tend to, and all his production company business," a source tells OK!. "He's very excited for Katie and is almost as excited about opening night as she is."

Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes and their child are reportedly moving to New York City as Holmes prepares to make her Broadway debut in the fall, according to Us Magazine.

“[Katie] and Tom are committed to keeping the family together, so they have to get an apartment here [in NYC],” All My Sons producer Eric Falkenstein told the New York Post.

Falkenstein said that Holmes will be perfect for the part of Ann, despite the uproar by many critics who’ve said that Holmes will be terrible on Broadway.

“Katie’s not a celebrity type,” Falkenstein says. “She’s done brilliant work in films like Pieces of April and The Ice Storm.” He went on to call Holmes a “sweet heart,” whose personality will fit perfectly with that of the character.

“Katie basically has that exact moral fiber [of her character in the play],” who “starts out as a simple, sweet, average Midwesterner, and by the finale gets up the gumption to stand and confront what’s wrong.”

It was one birthday celebration after another for Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes this weekend!

Daughter Suri turned 2 on Friday. A four-tiered yellow cake with flowers, butterflies and green trim from Sweet Lady Jane was delivered to their Hollywood Hills home, in addition to bundles of brightly colored balloons. "Happy Birthday Suri!" was written in chalk on the driveway.

The celebration continued Sunday as Holmes and Cruise joined Eva Longoria and David Beckham at Victoria Beckham's 34th birthday party at Santa Monica restaurant Via Veneto.

Victoria, whose actual birthday was April 17, also celebrated with David and their three sons at Beso restaurant in Hollywood last Wednesday.
