The brands we install and service
Holmes Family Plumbing installs and repairs equipment from the manufacturers below. The name on the box matters far less than sizing the system to the home and installing it correctly — but when the choice is open, we favor equipment that is well built, widely stocked, and backed by a manufacturer that stands behind it.
We also maintain and repair most major brands already in local homes, whether or not we installed them.
Tell us the constraints — capacity, space, venting, fuel, and budget — and we will explain the practical options and what we would install in our own home.
How we choose equipment
Not tied to any one manufacturer
Brand availability and model lineups change from year to year, and the right choice depends on the property. We are not a single-brand dealer. For a repair, we work with the equipment already in the home and source parts for most major brands. For a replacement, we recommend what fits the space, the fuel, the venting, and the household — and we explain the trade-offs before anything is ordered.
If a brand you are considering is not listed here, ask. The list reflects what we install most often in Somerville, Cambridge, Medford, Arlington, and Belmont, not the limit of what we service.
